OverDrive approached BIMS Solution with a problem in their website as it was hurting their business, as a specialist supplier of automotive parts to enthusiasts, collectors, and trade buyers across the United States
OverDrive needed to feel like the products it sold. We developed a visual language rooted in mechanical aesthetics. A tight grid structures, high-contrast photography, and interface elements that moved with a physical weight and purpose. We introduced interactive 3D product modules that allowed buyers to examine key components from every angle, reducing the uncertainty that causes hesitation at the purchase stage.
The checkout flow was rebuilt from scratch around conversion research. We stripped out every field that wasn't essential to completing the transaction, implemented one-click checkout for returning customers, and restructured the cart experience to surface trust signals, security badges, return policy, and real-time stock status, precisely where buyer hesitation tends to peak.
